Intersectional Approaches to Identity Research

We invite submissions for Intersectional Approaches to Identity Research, a comprehensive research initiative exploring critical aspects of Black girlhood experiences in European contexts. This call for papers seeks original research contributions that advance our understanding of intersectional identities, educational experiences, and community building among Black girls and women in Europe. We welcome empirical studies, theoretical contributions, and methodological innovations. Submissions should demonstrate rigorous scholarship, innovative approaches, and practical implications for policy and practice. We particularly encourage submissions that center the voices and experiences of Black girls and women, employ community-based participatory research methods, and offer actionable recommendations. Selected papers will be presented at our annual conference and considered for publication in our peer-reviewed journal. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growing field of Black girlhood studies and connect with a vibrant community of scholars and practitioners.
